It is totally freestanding and has been strengthened with wood which has been bonded into the tank.

This system comes with all media (Flocor & Japanese matting), submersible pump (fitted into the filter), 11 watt U.V., slide valve, all pipes and fittings and a bottom drain.

Water is pumped back into the tank to create even less noise. This means there is less to disturb the fish.

Larger models can be fitted with a Fluid Bed Filter (as an extra - see below).

When medication is added it can destroy the bacteria in a filter, by adding a Fluid Bed Filter, the bacteria recovers and regenerates at a much quicker rate. Another bonus to using a Fluid Bed Filter on our quarantine tanks is that the stocking levels can be increased.
